Each room is named after a favourite Kentish apple variety and made to feel like a real home from home for all of our guests, complete with DAB radios, Flat Screen TVs and spacious King Size beds!

A complimentary Duke William breakfast is included in your room booking—big, British and beautifully cooked or lighter, but still as tasty, whichever takes your fancy. Served downstairs from 9am, or order a hamper to your room if you need to leave earlier.

Midweek Retreat Room Offer

Book an overnight stay for up to two people and make the most of our midweek retreat. Available at just £189 which includes an overnight stay for up to 2 people, 3 course dinner menu (supplements may apply on certain dishes) plus breakfast the following morning.
Book now for midweek low season stays in April 2026 (Monday–Thursday nights, subject to pub opening times). Only one offer can be redeemed at any one time and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

TOR is set within beautiful gardens, alongside a small lake and comes highly recommended for a morning or afternoon of relaxation either before or following your overnight stay at The Duke William.

Wonderful Walks from The Duke

Ickham neighbours a handful of beautiful English villages including Wingham, Littlebourne and Wickhambreaux. Further north you’ll find Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve, a beautifully preserved area of nature with multiple routes to explore and plenty of wildlife to see. Simpsons vineyard is located a short distance from the pub and offers a fantastic selection of tours and tasting opportunities.
